Club Mac

Club Mac meets Fridays from 10am till noon. This is for November through March.

The Mac SIG is all about club members helping other club members.

Our meetings are currently divided into three sections:

  1.  specific hardware or software presentations,

  2. a how to, questions, problems session and

  3.  Mac basics

We have members who will go to another member's home to help.  We can arrange help sessions at the club computer. We share as much as we can about the Mac world of computing.

The major difference between the Mac and the PC is the operating systems. The Mac OS X is a much stronger operating system than any of the Window operating systems.

You don't need virus, spyware, malware, etc software that a Windows operating system requires. You can spend fewer dollars for the hardware of the PC / Windows computer.  PC Magazine did an analysis of Mac versus PC total cost of operation and the numbers are very close when you include all that is needed and you have the same quality components in each computer.

Join us on Fridays:   Mac SIG coordinator Larry Beam llarry@paradisecomputerclub.org
